maison blanche is distinctly focused on advocacy through fashion. our collections primarily target social taboos such as the defamation and repression of minorities, gendered conflicts and feminism – with a focus on the LGBTQIA+ community. we also design with strict adherence to cradle2cradle standards.
maison blanche is dedicated to supporting free and fair standards of labor. maison blanche is designed entirely within the walls of our zürich studio in switzerland, and is primarily manufactured and sourced in europe to reduce transcontinental shipping pollution. while our main clothing manufacturer is in portugal, some raw materials are sourced from outside europe. we strive to use biodegradable materials as much as possible, with the goal of producing 100% circular products in the future.
at maison blanche, cutting down on waste and preserving the integrity of our planet is a top priority! all fabrics used are made entirely without plastic– and only constructed of natural/biodegradable fibers, while also placing a premium on upcycling and recycling. all materials undergo environmentally friendly production processes, aiming to adhere to Cradle to Cradle (C2C) standards, ensuring their seamless integration into and exit from the textile cycle.
